The all new Mahindra Bolero has finally arrived in India for a price of Rs 6.19 lakhs (ex-showroom). The new Bolero is now available for booking across all Mahindra outlets in India. Apart from featuring a new engine which is powerful and economical than the outgoing Bolero, Mahindra has also added a new variant to the Bolero range, Bolero ZLX.
Mahindra Bolero's new 2.5L M2Di diesel engine delivers a mileage of 15.96 kmpl (ARAI certified). None of the variants of new Bolero will be featuring 4x4 as of now. Mahindra is currently working on the Bolero 4x4 and will be launched later in the Indian car market.
Mahindra has launched Bolero in 3 variants, Bolero SLE, Bolero SLX and top of the line Bolero ZLX. Bolero SLE BSIII is available for a price of Rs 6.19 lakhs while Bolero SLE BSIV is priced at Rs 6.33 lakhs. Bolero SLX BSIII is available for a price of Rs 6.67 lakhs while Bolero SLX BSIV is priced at Rs 6.81 lakhs. Bolero ZLX BSIII is available for a price of Rs 6.82 lakhs while Bolero ZLX BSIV is priced at Rs 6.96 lakhs.
Features of the new Mahindra Bolero are, new grille, new headlights, new front and rear bumpers, micro hybrid technology, engine immobilizer, new decals, spare wheel cover, new ac vents, new steering wheel, gear knob cover, better adjustable seats, new digital instrumentation, and voice messaging system.
10 years since its launch, Mahindra Bolero has managed to capture a large chunk of the SUV segment in the Indian auto industry. There are already more than 4 lakh Bolero SUVs on road in India today. Thanks to its dependability, Mahindra calls Bolero, Mr Dependable. Of all the Mahindra cars being sold today, 50% of them are Bolero while 35% of the entire SUV market in India is captured by Bolero.
