Final Allotment of Seats The allotments on 14-07-2011 based on merit, category, sex, Local area, special reservation category etc and will be placed in the web. Candidate have to download the allotment order. This is final allotment and request for change will not be entertained.
Payment of Fees: All candidates whose parental income is up to one lakh per annum from all sources, is eligible for Tuition fee reimbursement and need not pay any amount through challan. Payment of Fees Download the challan form with allotment order for payment of fee or collect it from helpline center. With downloaded allotment order you have to remit the fees in one of the branches of Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the State and obtain a receipt.
Reporting at College: With downloaded allotment order, fee receipt etc., you have to report at the respective College in which seat is allotted within the date mentioned by the authorities. If you fail to report on or before the date stipulated by the authority the allotment made in favor of you will be treated as cancelled and you will have no claim further on the allotment.

The Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in the capital of India's Kerala state, Thiruvananthapuram, after enormous quantities of gold and silver jewellery, coins and precious stones were found in the vaults.

A treasure trove of gold, diamonds and precious stones worth billions of pounds has been recovered from secret underground chambers beneath a 16th century south Indian temple. The dazzling hoard - which includes coins minted when the East India Company dominated trade with the sub-continent - has lain untouched for nearly 140 years.

Gold ornaments, gold and silver coins, stone studded crowns, idols and figurines inlaid with precious stones and jewels estimated to be worth a whopping over Rs 90,000 crore have been found from the cellars of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple here.

The inventory list of jewellery after the opening of the chambers, some locked up for several decades, on Supreme Court orders, is expected to go up substantially.

The exercise which began on June 27 to assess the value of the articles has been undertaken by a seven-member panel of observers, including two former High Court judges. It will continue on Monday after a day's breather.

According to the temple sources, the treasure trove has been so far estimated at around Rs 90,000 crore, throwing up security concerns with police as an interim step deploying two platoons of armed personnel to guard the area.

While similar treasures possessed by many other princely states in pre-colonial India [ Images ] were plundered by attackers, or wasted on luxuries by members of the royal houses themselves, the Travancore kings are believed to have zealously guarded them as reserves of the state.

Coins from other princely states like Vijayanagar empire and European countries have also been found which might be part of the gifts received by the rulers of the time. While all major temples of the area were handed over to the Travancore Devaswom Board after merger of the princely state with the Indian Union after 1947, control of

Padmanabhaswamy temple was retained by the royal house through a covenant with the government.

Narayanan, former Indian History Congress President said, "The state or Central government cannot take over these assets as they are part of the temple coffers according to the system followed by the Travancore kings."

Thiruvananthapuram may be a tongue twister of a name to most people other than natives of Kerala, the southern Indian state whose capital it is. But better get used to it.

Thiruvananthapuram, a city crowded with ancient Hindu temples, is headed into the record books. Police have discovered more than $22 billion worth gold coins and precious stones worth billions of dollars in the vaults of one of the city’s oldest temples.

Armed commandoes cordoned off the medieval temple on Monday after local authorities, responding to an order by India’s Supreme Court, said that the initial search of the vaults yielded treasures worth at least $12 billion. On Tuesday morning, that figure had risen to $22 billion. Archeologists that figure may rise further.

The chief minister of southern Kerala state, Oommen Chandy, said local authorities needed to take precautions and had set up a three-tier security ring involving 100 armed police. Surveillance will be in place around the clock, and security forces are establishing a special control center and looking at bringing in cameras.

“The treasure will be kept in the temple itself and Kerala police are taking over its security from temple staff,” said Mr. Chandy.

Five vaults of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in the capital of Kerala state, Thiruvananthapuram, were opened last week, yielding enormous quantities of gold and silver jewelry, coins and precious stones.

Retired Kerala High Court judge C.S. Rajan, who is part of a seven-member team named by India’s Supreme Court to monitor the treasure hunt, estimated Sunday that the valuables could be worth up to a trillion rupees ($22 billion).

“Its antique and archeological value has not been yet been taken into account,” he stressed.

A seventh vault reinforced with iron walls would be opened only after a fresh direction from India’s top court, he said.

The Times of India said one ton of gold coins −some dating back to the era of French military leader Napoleon Bonaparte − as well as sacks full of diamonds and golden statues, were among the artifacts discovered in the temple.

The state-run national conservation agency, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), said it was stunned by the findings.

“Right now we are working in absolute darkness and we only know that fabulous treasure is pouring out,” ASI Director General Gautam Sengupta said.

“No archeologist has ever experienced vault after vault being opened and treasures being discovered like this,” Mr. Sengupta said in New Delhi, adding that many of the Hindu shrines across India were “very rich.”

The discoveries have catapulted the Hindu shrine, renowned for its intricate sculptures, into the league of world’s richest religious institutions.

It was built hundreds of years ago by the king of Travancore, and donations by devotees have been kept in the temple’s seven vaults ever since.

Since India achieved independence from Britain, in 1947, a trust managed by descendants of the Travancore royal family has controlled the temple.

Shashi Bhushan, a Thiruvananthapuram-based historian retired from Kerala University, told the Mint business newspaper that the treasure was likely to be “the proceeds of trade” from a nearby ancient trading center, Vizhinjam.

“They had a flourishing trade between various other kingdoms in India. Then there was revenue from various chiefdoms and local rulers,” he said.

India’s supreme court recently ordered that the temple be managed by the state of Kerala to ensure the security of its valuables.

Until now, the Thirupathy temple, in southern Andhra Pradesh state, was believed to be India’s richest temple, with offerings from devotees worth 320 billion rupees ($7.6 billion).

The Thirupathy temple would use hair shaven by pilgrims to make wigs, which its officials sold. The products would fetch million of dollars annually.

Kerala has traditionally sent thousands of workers to the Middle East each year, and they account for remittances that constitute some 25 percent of the state’s annual budget.

These two have been the top two players in world this year. Djokovic is 48-1 since last November with the one loss coming to Roger Federer in the semifinals of the French Open. Djokovich has beaten Nadal 4 times this year, though Nadal leads the overall series 16-11. This match has been anticipated all year, and many thought it would happen in the French Open Final before Federer upset Djokovic in the semis. Nadal and Djokovic have combined to win the last 5 Major tournaments, with Nadal winning the French Open twice and Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, while Djokovic won the Australian Open in January.

Djokovic has been so dominant this year that he will pass Nadal for #1 in the rankings next week whether he wins or loses the final. It seems a little ridiculous that Nadal could win 5 of the last 6 majors and not be the number 1 player in the world, but the computer rankings count all tournaments equally. Djokovic has won 7 events this year while Nadal has only won 3.

The two have met 5 times in Grand Slam events with Nadal winning all of them. In fact Djokovic has only won one set in those five matches. The last time they played in a Grand Slam Final was in last year’s U.S. Open Final with Nadal winning in 4 sets. They haven’t played at Wimbledon since 2007 int eh semifinals.

Rafael Nadal has won 10 major tournaments in his career but 6 of those are at the French Open. He is going for his third Wimbledon title and he will join Bjorn Borg as the only players to win Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year 3 times. Djokovic has 2 grand slam titles but both are at the Australian Open. This is the first time he has ever played for the Championship at Wimbledon.

Nadal just turned 25 and is left handed. The Spaniard is 45-7 on the year. He injured his foot in his fourth round match against #24 Juan Martin Del Potro, and isn’t at 100%. Nadal beat #10 Mardy Fish in 4 sets. In the semifinals he dropped the first set to #4 Andy Murray before coming back to win in 4 sets. Nadal is averaging 40.6 winners, 7.3 aces, and only one double fault in the tournament.

Djokovic is 47-1 this season. He is 24 years old from Serbia he plays right handed. Like Nadal he has only dropped 3 sets in the tournament. He beat #32 Marco Bagdhatis in four sets in the third round, and beat #19 Michael Llodra in the fourth round in straight sets. In the quarters, Djokovic beat unseeded Bernard Tomic in four sets. In the semifnals, he played #12 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who upset Roger Federer in the quarterfinals. Djokovic won in four sets including two tiebreakers. Djokovic is averaging 33.6 winners, 9 aces, and 2.5 double faults a match in the tournament.

This match could go either way, as each are playing at or near the top of their games. Djokovic has seemingly had Nadal’s number this year, and has had more success against him than Murray or Federer have had. I wouldn’t be surprised if this match went the full five sets. I would like to pick Djokovic to pull off the upset and win his first Wimbledon title. However, injured foot or not, i just can’t pull the trigger and bet against Nadal on Centre Court. Nadal wins in 5 sets with at least one tiebreaker.
